On March 8, 2024, Open Net marked its 10th anniversary with a celebration held at the Korea Women’s Foundation building, home to the Open Net office.
Founded in 2013 as a non-profit organization, Open Net has been dedicated to advocating for Internet freedom, and fostering an open society.
The anniversary event gathered individuals who have been closely associated with Open Net, prompting reflections on its journey thus far and envisioning its future trajectory. Additionally, international allies were invited to contribute by sharing short videos or messages commemorating the occasion.
The commemorative event held great significance, serving as a platform to reflect on past accomplishments and strategize for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the forthcoming decade.
