Open Net Begins “Protecting WOMAD for Gender Equality and Digital Intermediary Liability Safe Harbor” Campaign

Open Net kicked off its “Protecting WOMAD for Gender Equality and Digital Intermediary Liability Safe Harbor” campaign on October 29. Digital Intermediaries provide a free arena for the free flow of ideas and the international community has established the principle of intermediary liability safe harbor. Open Net is starting a petition and fundraiser to help provide legal aid to the operator of WOMAD who is unable to return to Korea for fear of unfair criminal prosecution.
