On April 2, 2026, Korea University International Human Rights Clinic and Open Net held a webinar to prepare for the UN bodies’ review of digital rights in Thailand. Darika Bamrungchok at Access Now discussed the status of digital rights in Thailand and “Kay” Sanhawan Srisod, the lawyer at International Commission of Jurists discussed the past Concluding Observations made by the UN Human Rights Committee on Thailand in the relevant area. All CCPR reviews are indefinitely put on hold due to the budget crisis within UN. Korea University Human Rights Clinic will, however, prepare in advance to intervene in the review process when it is resumed. About 50 students (about 50% female) attended the webinar. Please see below for the presentation slides.
